It is with great sorrow that we, at BEVC make known to our Clients & Friends of the passing of our founder,

Dr. Joe Bert Trimble

on Sunday, August 15, 2010

sJoe Trimble, D.V.M., was born on February 24, 1933, and grew up in Clovis, New Mexico. He graduated in 1957 from Colorado A & M, now known as Colorado State University and opened Broadway Estates Veterinary Clinic in 1960.

He found pleasure in veterinary medicine and cherished each pet and their owners. Dr. Joe always took his client's feelings into consideration, always listening with a kind heart of their pet's problems & needs. He was determined to give his clients, the best care possible.d

Besides volunteering with the Denver Dumb Friends League and the Colorado Humane Society, Dr. Joe donated services to the poor in the names of the deceased animals of customers as a memorial for each pet.

In 2005, Dr. Joe sold his practice to his son Dr. Phillip Trimble and began enjoying retirement life with his lovely wife Rita.. He would still stop by the Clinic from time to time with that incredible bright smile and would always have terrific stories to tell.

He leaves his lovely wife Rita of 53 years, his sons, Dr. Phillip Trimble, Michael and John; his daughters Jennifer, Mari and Sara; 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and many close friends.

Dr. Joe has touched so many lives throughout his life, especially here at BEVC over the last 50 years.

No time was too difficult for him, as he was heard to say that God had a reason for everything. Instead of fearing the passage of time, he accepted it with joy.
