DR. JOE Dr. Joe Trimble, DVM, graduated in 1957 from Colorado A & M, now known as Colorado
State University. He opened Broadway Estates Veterinary Clinic in 1960 in the shopping center behind our
present building. In 1970 he asked Dr. Jack Swearingen to join BEVC. The doctors moved
their clinic to the prior 7-11 store across South Broadway, from our building. In 1981, Dr. Joe
and Dr. Jack decided to build their own building. Upon completion in 1982, BEVC moved to, 6574
South Broadway. In 2005, Dr. Joe sold his practice to his son Dr. Phillip Trimble and began enjoying retirement
life with is lovely wife Rita. Frequently, Dr. Joe still visits the staff and doctors here at Broadway
Estates Veterinary Clinic.
DR. JACK Dr. Jack Swearingen, DVM, graduated from Colorado State University in 1961.
After moving to Littleton, he began practicing at Englewood Veterinary Clinic until 1970 when Dr. Joe asked him to
join Broadway Estates Veterinary Clinic. After many years of enjoyment being an Veterinarian
here at BEVC, Dr. Jack sold his practice to Dr. David Specht in 1998. Dr. Jack retired in the
year 2000 and enjoys traveling with his beautiful wife Bonnie and spending time with their family. Dr. Jack still over
sees the building and visits the staff & doctors weekly.
DR. PHIL Dr.
Phillip Trimble, DVM, graduated in 1983 from Colorado State University. Born and raised in the Littleton area, he is
also a 1976 graduate from Heritage High School. He joined the doctors here at Broadway Estates Veterinary
Clinic in May of 1983. Upon his father’s retirement in 2005, Dr. Phil purchased his father’s
practice. When Dr. Phil is not caring for your special pets here at BEVC, he is the
acting Director of Medicine at the Animal Hospital Specialty Center.
DR. DAVE Dr. David Specht, DVM, was raised in Sarasota, Florida and is a 1990 graduate from the University
of Florida. Upon graduation he moved to Colorado and became a relief Veterinarian practicing in
over 80 different clinics in the Front Range area. He returned to Florida for one year as acting Veterinarian
for Silver Springs Wild Animal Park, doctoring giraffes, birds, alligators/crocodiles and snakes. Dr. Dave
returned to Colorado and purchased Dr. Jack Swearingens’s practice at Broadway Estates Veterinary Clinic in
1998. He practices small animal medicine with interests in exotics pets, most notably snakes.
DIAN Dian
Boberick came to Broadway Estates Veterinary Clinic as a client in 1991. She proceeded to receptionist,
then Veterinarian Technician and ultimately became our Technical Manager because of her unsurpassed love for animals.
Behavioral questions were Dian’s specialty. An avid Collie lover, Dian bred, raised and showed Collies for many
years. She had a special love for BEVC, our staff and our clients. We lost Dian in April
of 2009. She now and forever, will always be remembered.
BUNNY Bunny, is our
in house feline that has lived here at BEVC since 1996. She was brought to our clinic by Dr.
Gene Lomme. Bunny is estimated of being over 20 years old. Many of our past
and present employees as well as our clients have enjoyed seeing Bunny at our Front Desk.
