Flu Shots are Important to You but did you know it's as Important to Your Canine? The highly contagious Canine Influenza Virus has hit the State of Colorado in numerous shelters and other facilities.  If you are planning to kennel your dog over the holidays, please check with your local kennel regarding their requirements.  Numerous facilities, including kennel, doggy day care and dog parks are requiring the vaccine to protect your dog from disease.  What is Required?   Two (2) vaccinations are required, 3-4 weeks apart.  There is a waiting period of two (2) weeks after the 2nd vaccine booster is given before your dog can be kenneled.   If you have any questions about the Canine Influenza Virus or if you would like to make an appointment please call our office at   303-795-2584
