Dr. Joanne L. Bigbee

Joanne L. Bigbee, DVM, a graduate of Michigan State University (GO SPARTANS!!), grew up coast to coast from New Jersey and Boston to Los Angeles and has settled in between. Dr. Joanne entered into veterinary medicine because she wanted a career that would be both challenging as well as fulfilling and include lots of furry faces. She has an interest in neurology and orthopedic surgery. As a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, she also is interested in the special needs of cats, recognizing that cats are not small dogs! She even studied veterinary medicine in Madras, India during her vet school years.

In her spare time, Dr. Joanne loves the mountains and has recently started skiing the black diamond runs. She is currently training for an Olympic distance triathlon, the infamous "Boulder Peak". She also enjoys reading fiction, practicing yoga, and spending time with her lynx tabby, California.
