Our emphasis is in educating the pet owner, in order to prevent or avoid illness of the exotic pet. Estimates show 90% of problems in these exotic pets are due to improper care, feeding and environment, and this is due to the fact that it is often hard to find accurate information.

We treat a wide variety of Exotics animals including:

Rabbits, Rodents, Ferrets
Hedgehogs, Sugar Gliders and all other Pocket Pets, Reptiles and Amphibian
Birds

“Growing up in Texas where lizards and turtles abounded, I have always had a strong interest in exotic animals.  I remember going to the zoo as a boy thinking about how great it would be to work with those animals when I grew up.  In middle school, I started keeping and breeding bearded dragons.  It wasn’t long before I adopted a couple ferrets, then chinchillas… then many other exotics soon followed.  Through keeping my companions, I learned the importance of proper husbandry and what diseases can follow if those husbandry needs are not met.  My time spent in veterinary school, as well as working in zoos, taught me more about those diseases and how to best manage those diseases.”
